VotM #5 Sandy Wilson

Perhaps the our most venerable British writer, Sandy Wilson began composing for the West End in the late 1940’s. The intimate and delightful pastiche show The Boy Friend became a runaway hit. I speak to Sandy about post-war optimism, Julie Andrews, and whether luck really exists.

I came across this site this morning and have already listed to two interviews: Charles Hart & Sandy Wilson. It says there is a part 2 to Charles Hart but I cannot see it. Are there more as I want to gradually hear them all.

Dear Rex – thank you for your message – sorry for the late reply. I had intended to record another interview with Charles, but the opportunity passed, so currently part 1 is the only episode! Apologies for the misleading information – I will correct it if possible. I hope you enjoy the other VoM interviews. All best wishes, Tim
